Al Shabab Storm gave his owners a brilliant evening at Newcastle when winning the Gosforth Park Cup. This was our biggest flat win so far, it was fantastic to land such a £60,000 prestigious race and take home the magnificent cup. Ballydisco runs at Market Rasen today in the 4:35. Big Win kept the good form going when winning well at Chepstow last weekend. He's a lovely horse and looks a real bargain buy. Big Win makes his debut for us and his owners at Bath today.We purchased him from the Tatts sales for 19,000, likely to be a dual-purpose horse in time. Very much a learning curve for us, working out the trip, ground and best way to ride him etc. He's done nothing wrong at home, isn't very quick and looks like hurdles would suit well.

We start the week with a flat runner, Betties Bay runs at Catterick in the last race.This is Betty's first run after a mini break, she won her first three races for her owners plus a share of the £40,000 monthly ARC Bonus.
