Sea The Clouds was a game winner of the Cumbria Crystal Cup at Cartmel on Saturday. A valuable race worth £35,000. A super day was had, plenty of owners made the journey to pick up the prize and welcome Will and Clouds into the winner's enclosure. We shouldn't have run Walk Of The Roses at Uttoxeter yesterday, it was awful going, proper winter soft and rode very deep.Rose hated every yard of it. Coltor ran very well at Beverley yesterday, the weight did for him at the business end, giving two stone away. A change of codes today with Walk Of The Roses over hurdles at Uttoxeter.Rose looks rather skinny at her current odds, especially on soft ground, which she certainly doesn't want. The drop in trip will suit, so we'll see how we go.

Nibras Gold runs at Stratford this evening in the 8:10, this race will be his second start over a fence.The step-up in trip shouldn't be an issue, Stratford is a tight speed track, the extra distance will give Nibras a little more time. Our runner has to give a lot of weight away to his rivals who have more experience than him, but Nibras is in good form and ready to go.
