Betties Bay runs at Lingfield in the lucky last this afternoon. Betty won on debut for her owners and first run for us at Wolverhampton. She's came out of the race well and seems in good form. We have an awful draw to overcome, this will make things really tricky and luck in running will be required. Touch wood we get it.

Jack Hoola runs at Catterick today in the 2:20. Jack has been very consistent this season, he's either won or finished second in his four starts. Trip and ground will be fine for him, although we are up in grade. It would need a career best to win this, a repeat effort of his runs so far this season should see him involved at the business end.

We finished 2025 with a fantastic 38 winners and over £300,000 or prize money won. We also had 27 second placed horses and 27 in third from 124 runners. It was a brilliant year. We'll have two more runners in 2025 and what's been a superb year with 38 winners so far.Only The Bold runs in the prestiges Mandarin Chase at Newbury today. Bold will need every yard of this on good ground, his chances will depend on been able to stay in touch until the business end, where his stamina will kick in.
