Knights Affair runs in the first race at Newton Abbot today.Knights Affair won on debut for his owners, this means he carries a 7lb penalty in this Novice Hurdle, that's something not many horses do. We feel KA has improved again, on paper he'll have to, the Paul Nicholls horse looks well fancied whilst Chief Black Robe is smart over a fence, 120 rated horse.

Light Dragoon bolted up last night for his owners at Fontwell by 16 lengths. The race perhaps fell to bits, but we don't worry about that. Our fourth winner in just over a week, credit to all our trainers. Two runners today, Nibras Gold at Newbury, then Only The Bold runs at Aintree. Nibras Gold won on debut for James Owen. Light Dragoon makes his seasonal debut this evening in the 6:10 at Fontwell. Light Dragoon is the only horse in the race without a recent run, whilst this racecourse might not be ideal. Dragoon is a big lad, horses are on the turn a lot at Fontwell. He's in good form though and the yard is flying. A trappy race with support for plenty of the runners.It might take a bit of winning.

Machete Beach makes his hurdles debut in the first race at Plumpton today.A good flat horse that won twice from four starts. It's his first day at school and as per all horses running for the first time over hurdles, we are mainly after the horse to enjoy the experience. We've been pleased with Machete Beach at home, hopefully he can show promise.

Howth was very good at Market Rasen yesterday, he looked a natural on his first start over hurdles and translated his flat class to the jumps. He could be smart. Howth's win was our third of a brilliant week and gave us our 202 winner. Counsel runs in the last race at Ascot today. This will be his final run of the season. Back In The Bay runs at Fakenham this afternoon in the Mares' Maiden Hurdle.Back In The Bay has improved for her first run of the season, she's in good from, but on paper it looks like we could all be running for second place behind the Skelton horse. It's not a big field, and we don't run away from one, so we'll give it a go and be positive on Bay.
