Fakenham today with a couple of runners, Back In The Bay & Squeezebox. Both races will be tactical ones, more so with Back In The Bay, three runners with all liking to make all. The winner will likely be the horse that does everything correct during the race. The fav will be hard to beat in Squeezebox race, but we'll bid to use his jumping experience and make it a speedy race.

Jackstell won his second race in 12 days for his owners at Hereford yesterday. Winning two Novice races at this time of the year takes some doing, this win was our 31st of a brilliant year. We move to the flat today with Hedge Fund who runs in the last at Lingfield. A warm race on paper, with the favourite looking chucked in based on Irish form. Hedge Fund ran well at Haydock on his last start an...

A great week has come and gone, four runners two winners and two second places. So far in 2025, we've now had 30 winners! We start this week with a trip to Hereford, Jackstell runs in the second race. We run Jack quickly, soon as the rain arrives, the Novice races will be red hot and max fields. Jackstell doesn't mind quicker ground, but this trip and track will be really on the sharp side for h...

Jack Hoola won for his owners on seasonal debut yesterday under a nice ride by Stan Sheppard. The leaders got racing a fair way out, this worked nicely for us. Our first two winter horses have both been winners, very pleasing indeed. Ludlow today with Miracles Do Happen, who showed nice form when 3rd in an Irish bumper. You never know what you are up against in bumper races, a small field but ple...

Jackstell was the first of our winter horses to run last week, pleasingly he won easily by eight lengths in good style. Jack looks a much stronger horse this time around and will get further in time. The second of our runners goes today at Huntingdon in the 3:07, Jack Hoola. Jack Hoola struggled a little in his first season, showed promise but didn't finish his races off. These ex Irish horses c...

The super Nibras Gold will have his final race of his season at Market Rasen today.Nibras has been the most brilliant syndicate horse, he's super consistent and gives his all. Today's race will take a lot of winning, plenty of very smart horses take their chance. Picking up some more prize money would have resulted in a sound effort. A dash down to Southwell will then take place to watch Buxted ...

Plumpton today with two runners, both horses could be having their last outings of what’s been a great season for both horses. Howth has been fantastic since making the switch to jumps racing. Winning four of his five starts. Today’s race is a fair ask on paper, giving plenty of weight away to some smart horses that are well handicapped. This race will take some winning, hopefully Ho...

Let's Sail Away makes the long journey to Kelso and runs in the 2m5f Chase at 5:00.If we wanted to run in September, this was the only race option we had, hence having to head north. Let's Sail Away has run well over a fence so far, we are having to run in a higher grade of race today but get a bit of weight from our rivals. If LSA can repeat his previous efforts and find a bit more, that should p...

Elegant Call runs this evening in the last race at Wolverhampton. It's been a stop start season with Elegant Call, we found she was struggling with her wind and needed a bit of help. This is her first start after a wind op. Normally, horses tend to work out they can breathe better on their second start from a wind op, but it's not a science. Touch wood Elegant Call can finish her race off an...

Rascal Recknell was a smart winner for us at Chelmsford on Thursday. Rascal won nicely and looks a progressive horse with a nice future. We have a day out at Chester today with Nibras Gold who runs in the jump jockeys challenge race, Jonathan Burke rides. Nibras Gold has had an excellent season on the flat and jumps.  The ground today would be a concern, Nibras likes a quick surface. If ok ...

Rascal Recknell make the journey to Chelmsford today and runs in the 4:50. A winner on debut for us, but then didn't run as hoped next time at Haydock. A few things came from that race we learnt, hopefully these work out today. It's a very open race with many holding chances, whilst luck in running is required around here. Touch wood Rascal can run a nice race.

A busy day with everything coming at once this week. Three runners, all at different meetings. Buxted Reel will be our first runner, 2:30 at Bangor. The step up in trip will suit, a very open race with many holding chances by the looks of it. Hedge Fund runs at Haydock, this horse needs a bit of luck and to help himself. Hopefully he can run ok today and finish the season well. Garde My Guinnes...

Howth toughed it out at Newton Abbot yesterday on ground he didn't like to win his fourth race from five starts over hurdles. Giving 17lb to a last time out winner was a good effort. The win was our 26th of the year, with plenty of them provided by Tom Lacey & Stan Sheppard. We team up with that due again today in the first race at Worcester with Let's Sail Away.LSA made a nice chasing debut...

Howth makes the journey to Newton Abbot today, where we hope the rain holds off. Howth's only defeat over hurdles so far came on good to soft ground at Uttoxeter. A double penalty is carried, not many horses can win giving 12lbs away. This isn't ideal, but the race is the only option we have and Howth needs to run. We have some nice races lined up as the jump season kicks off for Howth, this wil...
