Buxted Reel picked up a deserved win over hurdles at Newton Abbot last week. Ted won nicely and gave his owners a lovely day in the sun by the sea.

We are heading in the other direction today with Al Shabab Storm who runs in the prestigious Beverley Bullet. We've not been able to run Storm since his excellent Gosforth Park Cup win due to the ground.

We needed a bit of cut in the ground for Al Shabab Storm, if we wanted heavy as per conditions today, I'm not sure, but Storm has won on soft ground before.

It will be very hard work up the Beverley hill, horses will need to stay further than the race distance this afternoon. We tick a few of those boxes, touch wood Storm can run well.
