Bona Fortuna was secured at the Tattersalls sales for 30,000gns in the Autumn of 2023. This looks a very fair price based on the form shown so far in two starts.

Bona Fortuna was a Book 1, 180,000gns purchase the year before, he's very well put together as you would expect and smartly bred.

Both runs before we purchased him came on soft ground, better going should suit but despite this, Bona Fortuna showed a good level of form and was only half a length behind Firebird who sold for 260,000gns at the same sale.

We'll have him gelded and run through the warmer months with this nice young horse.
