Knights Affair was high on our shortlist at the Tattersalls horses in training sales. The hammer fell our way for 21,000gns, a good bit under what we thought he'd make and what we were willing to pay.

A very strong stayer on the flat that still looks unexposed, Knights Affair is a big horse, standing at a lofty 16.3h.

We purchased him to go jumping, but his owners can have the odd day out in valuable flat staying races with plenty of money on offer.

Knights Affair will be trained by Jamie Snowden.
