Pisgah Pike caught our eye when finishing sixth of eighteen in a bumper at Cork. We enquired about the horse the following day and pleasingly agreed a £10,000 deal.
In both of his bumper races in Ireland, Pisgah Pike could be seen travelling strongly and was nearly the last horse off the bridle in each race. Only in the last furlong, did Pisgah Pike fade when looking like he would finish in the places.
The form of the Cork bumper has worked out well. Winners have come from the race that finished just ahead of Pisgah Pike
Pisgah Pike is an unknown quantity, he’s come from a small yard that’s had just a handful of runners in the past five years. He’s a flashy looking horse with plenty of size and moves well. We’ll look forward to finding out a bit more about him.
