Buxted Reel was purchased for 17,000gns from the Tattersalls online sale.

The horse had shown good form on the flat over staying trips and ran well in much higher grades of races than he could have run in.

A half-brother to a 125 rater hurdler, that's the route we'll take with Buxted Reel. His profile suggests he could be a fair summer hurdler, likely over middle to staying distances.

Buxted Reel will be trained by Tom Lacey.
