Shajak was purchased for 9,000gns off J P McManus, this seems a fair price for a horse that's reached 95 on the flat.

Previously trained by Johnny Murtagh & Gordon Elliott, Shajak has some high level form, mainly on the level, but was also decent over jumps.

A big money move took place after showing a lot of ability with Mr Murtagh, JP snapped him up to go jumping. You can see why being out of Zarak who is a very popular jumps sire.

Despite winning and above average, Shajak didn't reach the level Mr McManus would require over jumps, we snapped him up to run back on the flat as he still looks unexposed.

We can run in many of the prestigious staying races with fantastic prize money on offer. He'll be a fun horse to have lovely days out at the big weekend meetings through the summer.
