We purchased The Lord Maid privately after she won on hurdles debut at Clonmel by eight lengths. Beforehand, The Lord Maid was third behind the very exciting, Willie Mullins trained Maughreen in a bumper, staying on strongly.

The form of her debut win looks sound.

The second placed horse won its P2P by 22 lengths, whilst the third placed horse finished 6th of the twenty runners in the Listed mares' bumper at the Aintree Grand National meeting.

The Lord Maid has plenty of size, standing at 16.2h, she enjoys soft ground and looks the type that will enjoy a stamina test in time.

The Lord Maid will be trained by Tom Lacey.
