We head to Southwell this afternoon, excellent racing with the 100k Winter Derby taking places plus a Listed Sprint.

My pick for the Derby is Military Order.

Lord North is the class act, but he might just need this as his main target is Dubai. Tyrrhenian Sea has a question mark on the trip. Eydon returns but will likely need the run.

Military Order will have come forward for his prep, where he ran very well.

Our runner is Howth in the 4:30.

A good race with decent prize money, this will take some winning, but Howth is very capable. He just needs the race run to suit and the gaps to come at the right time.
