The Lord Maid makes her debut for us and her owners this afternoon in the 4:05 at Southwell.
We've not had her long, purchased privately from Ireland after winning a Maiden Hurdle.

Her form looks sound whilst the bumper effort when third behind Maughreen reads well, that horse would have been favourite for the Cheltenham Festival bumper if not for picking up a niggle.

This will be the only run this season, The Lord Maid will go on holidays after today. The ground is an unknown, all runs have come on a soft surface.

Rialannah looks the one to beat, ran to a rating of 110 and carries 7lb lower, this means The Lord Maid will have to run to 120 plus I would think.

We'll learn plenty about her, she'll be chasing next season.
