Market Rasen holds the feature NH summer fixture of the year this afternoon. Sadly the weather is going to play a big part, heavy rain is forecast all day long and the ground will likely be soft come racing.

We run Nibras Gold in the Summer Hurdle, a race we've won twice before. Nibras Gold has been in fine form on the flat, this is his first jumps outing for the best part of a year.

We certainly don't want soft ground, nor will every runner in the race give or take two or three.
We'll still run, but we've always avoided soft ground with Nibras, touch wood the rain isn't bad as the forecast suggests.

Whatever the ground, Nibras Gold will give his all, he's in fine form.
