The Elusive Pike won the bumper nicely at Uttoxeter earlier in the week, he looks a smart prospect and could follow in the footsteps over his brother who was such a good horse for us.

This was our 21st winner of the year.

A busy day with four runners, two at Market Rasen, then runners at Cartmel & Newmarket.

It's the feature NH meeting of the summer at Market Rasen, the Summer Plate & Hurdle. We have two runners in the hurdle, Squeezebox & Howth.

Each horse has been targeted at this race like the rest of the runners. It's a very strong renewal and will take a huge amount of winning. This race would look a cracker if it was being run in December.

Both of our runners will have chances with luck in running.

Eternal Angel runs in the valuable ladies race, if he handles the quirky turns of Cartmel, he should have an ew chance. Ladies Day will be hard to beat.

Flag Of Eva our first homebred foal running at Newmarket on a Saturday is a great thrill.

Handicap debut today, the ground might be a bit quick whilst our rating of 65 is perhaps a bit harsh. It will be another learning step for Damien.
