Plenty of good racing this week taking place. It's nice to have the flat back with the Craven meeting at Newmarket. I'm not sure if we've seen a Guineas or Derby candidate yet, but it's very early days. Cheltenham also hold a good two-day meeting, there's certainly something for everyone and a Bank Holiday coming up too!

At Newmarket in the 2:25 The Wood Ditton, Francesco Clemente is thought as being smart. Work on the Newmarket gallops is of high order. Could be green as grass today, but worth following whatever the result today.

We have a runner this evening at Southwell, Carn A Chlamain makes his hurdles debut in the 6:00. Jonathan Burke rides.

The favourite will be very hard to beat, but for us, it's mainly about Carn A Chlamain running through the line and finishing his race off.

His wind isn't great, we'll learn more tonight if it holds up under race pressure.
