First Day of the Cheltenham Festival.
Many will be doing the short price lucky 15 that looks to have every chance of paying. Needing 4 winners for a payout of just 7-1 at the festival isn't for me, but it does look a fun bet.
No real thoughts on the Supreme, Kopek Des Bordes looked a monster last time out and will take some beating. However, I'm not keen on betting an odds on shot to start the meeting. Watching brief for me.
The same can be said for the Arkle, Majborough is miles ahead of rivals on paper. He will likely make every yard of the running.
A lucky pin is required for the Ultima. Famous Bridge will keep galloping and could run into a place at 20-1.
Lossiemouth is stones better than her rivals in the Mares Hurdle, providing she's ok from her heavy fall. It's impossible to oppose her, she's a different level to these.
Brighterdaysahead is the value in the Champion Hurdle in what looks a match up. Connections won't hear of defeat.
Liam Swagger, EW for me in the Fred Winter at 14-1. He warmed up nicely for this on the level last time out. Beyond Your Dreams looks well handicapped off 123.
Haiti Couleurs ticks every box in the lucky last, and should go very close.
