A super day of racing and a big day for us with Leoncavallo. Leon runs in the £200,000 Cesarewitch at Newmarket in the 3:35.

Just to have a runner in such a race will be a great thrill, having a horse in the top five in the betting is very exciting. Leoncavallo is drawn in stall 29 which makes things tricky. All horses will go right from the break and it will be a battle for a position for the first two furlongs.

We would have liked better ground over such a distance, the race will be a real slog, but Leoncavallo looks to have the right profile. It’s a super race to be involved with, and we’ll enjoy the day.
