We make the journey to Ripon this evening, our first evening fixture of the year. Ripon is a lovely racecourse, the sun will be shining, and the short sleeve shirts will be out.

Andromedas Kingdom followed up her win last week when going in again on Bank Holiday Monday. This wins keeps us ticking over nicely for the year so far.

Yesterday, we purchased a horse from the Tatts online sale for just 8,000gns called Devasboy.

He looks very well handicapped indeed and is just the type of horse we have an excellent record with, turning around and bringing them back to their best and more. Devasboy needs a good holiday, he's been on the go for a long time with no break.

Devasboy will run on the AW through the colder months and be aimed at the huge bonus offers. More info soon on Devasboy, shares will be available.

Back to Ripon, Counsel runs in the 7:15.

Counsel switches to the turf and will be going on holidays soon, we also drop back in trip by a furlong.
This might not suit, but Counsel has been showing good speed. The run will tell us the route for next season. He's in good form.
