We have two runners at Uttoxeter this evening. The going is now soft after plenty of rain, whilst Uttoxeter continued to water yesterday, which was madness with the forecast that everybody could see.

Buxted Reel makes his hurdles debut and debut for us at the same time in the 5:05. Buxted Reel has taken to jumping well, he's not a quick horse, hence a stayer on the level.

The favourite will be very hard to beat and should win easily. The going is a big worry for Buxted Reel, he's well but could get stuck in the mud.

Top Speed is our other runner in the 5:35.

Speedy was badly outpaced last time out, the step-up in trip will suit, but Top Speed must prove he's ok jumping fences. Standing at 17h, he should be, but perhaps lacks a bit of courage and prefers hurdles.
