Gran Maestro ran another solid race for his owners yesterday at Haydock.

The horse did exactly what we thought he would do, on and off the bridle finding it all a bit boring back on the level but when asked for his effort Granny stuck his head out and ran to the line.

We finished 3rd beaten just over a length, jockey Adam Kirby gave him a lovely ride.

This result means Gran Maestro has now ensured his owners have made their way into the winner’s enclosure for the 9th consecutive race, that’s an incredible achievement. In fact Granny has ran 11 times for us since purchase and only been out of the first three once, is there a more consistent horse in training?

Gran Maestro’s owners are a very lucky bunch!

If you took the advice on Danzeno back on the 14th July “see below link” you’ll be sitting on a very nice antepost voucher and able to trade off for a nice locked in profit if that’s your thing.

Danzeno does indeed line up today in the Sprint Cup “3:45” and is the 8-1 2nd favourite for the race. Frankie Dettori remains in the saddle and with luck in running he must go close.

I really hope everything drops right this afternoon, including Danzeno breaking level from the stalls as he can be slow away whilst not hanging during the business end of the race.

If everything clicks today Danzeno can certainly win this.
