National Hunt racing takes a near two-week break from tomorrow, Market Rasen is the last fixture this afternoon. That's where we head with two runners, in the first and second race.
Captain Square & Nastasiya.
The Juvenile Hurdle race has cut up, we hoped it could with most of the horses entered, running at Stratford last week. Just the three runners now, the odds on favourite came out too which leaves Captain Square a short price.
This could be messy, I'm not sure who will wish to lead, perhaps nobody will. Via Serica has a nice profile for Juvenile hurdles, if this was a flat race, Captain Square and Via Serica couldn't be separated.
Nastasiya has her first start since a wind op three weeks ago, this run does come quickly, but we wanted to get a run into her before the break. It normally takes a run for horses to work out they can breathe. Hopefully the penny drops and Nastasiya can gain some confidence.
