We’re off to Ireland Wednesday morning with Leoncavallo who runs in the 300,000-euro, Galway Hurdle on Thursday afternoon. Leoncavallo made the journey across the water on Tuesday. Nearly all of his owners are going, some travelled at the weekend and made a holiday of it.

The going looks to have gone against Leoncavallo, this is annoying, but it is what it is. It was a huge ask anyhow but would have been nice to have good ground. Sam Twiston Davies is flying out for the ride.

Running in such a race could be a once in a life time chance, however Leoncavallo deserves a crack at such a race. He broke the track record in a canter at Ludlow on debut for us whilst don’t forget he was 5^th in the 2016 Triumph Hurdle.

It will be fantastic taking on the likes of Mullins, O’Brien & Elliott. A syndicate from the UK with their 21k purchase, taking on the best in their own back garden.

Whatever the result, we’ll enjoy every moment of the day and two lively nights out in Galway!
