Today is the start off the two day Ladbroke Newbury fixture. It also kicks off a great weekend of sport. We have the big fight between Wilder & Fury plus Samcro taking on Buveur D’Air in the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle.

I’m not sure I'll get a blog update done tomorrow, it depends on what time we get back from Alastair Ralph’s. The owners of The Green Ogre and Pyromaniac are visiting their horses.

I’ve had a flutter at Newbury today and actually placed the bet a few days ago. Dragon D’Estruval in the 3:35.

An easy winner on his UK debut at Ffos Las, his rating of 132 looks workable and could underestimate him. Fitness must be taken on trust, but I hear he’s decent. Dragon D’Estruval is one to keep on side this season, he'll win his fair share of races no matter what he does today.
