Just a short update this afternoon, Decorated Knight won nicely for us yesterday backed form 11-8 into 5-4, he looks one to follow.

I’ve had a few quid EW on Accipiter in the 5:30 at Goodwood, priced at 11-1.

This speedy filly has taken a few runs to find her form this season but ran far better than the finishing position suggests last time out. With a smart break Accipiter might just take a bit of catching on a track that suits front runners.

Sticking with the excellent Chris Wall yard, Royal Altitude looks big at 5-1 in the 4:35 Nottingham.

A bit like Accipiter this horse is just finding his form and looks ready to strike any time soon. There are quite a few exposed types in this but Royal Altitude should have more to offer now running over further. With 8 runners lining up he can also be backed EW at a workingman’s price.

Back at Goodwood I hope Trip To Paris can win the Qatar Goodwood Cup, the horse did us a favour at Royal Ascot when winning at 14-1. I’ve not backed him today but will be cheering him on, Simenon could be the main danger.
