A super weekend of racing at Newmarket with the 2000 and 1000 Guineas taking place plus many other valuable races. The jump season also starts again, with Uttoxeter and Hexham holding fixtures.

It’s far from original, but with the form of Godolphin and Charlie Appleby, it’s hard to take them on in the 2000 Guineas at 3:40.

Native Trail looks very smart, stall 15 could make life tough for William Buick as he doesn’t have any options apart from stay where he is. On the opposite side in stall 1, is the other Godolphin runner, Coroebus who also has a huge chance and should be unbeaten.

Aidan O’Brien has won the last whatever amount of running’s of the Guineas, Luxembourg and Point Lonsdale are his chances. It would be nice to keep the race on home soil this year, I’m in the Godolphin camp and think they will win the with one of the two runners.

The boys in blue can hopefully have a good day with King Of Time 4:50, looks well in and Dhahabi 2:25, smart but had problems.
