Ilovemints, our runner at Uttoxeter on Sunday took a tumble, the fall was a little unlucky. Minty got one of her legs stuck in the deep ground upon landing and it flipped her over. Ilovemints is fine, hopefully she’ll have learned a bit for the run.

It was good to see Min hack up on seasonal debut by 36 lengths. The 8-1 available for the Champion Chase looks good value to me. Altior is a big doubt, Douvan is also far from certain to line up. Take them two out of the race and Min will be the favourite on the day.

Bristol De Mai was very impressive when winning the Betfair Chase by 57 lengths. The King George is next on the agenda. If he can win that, the £1 million-pound bonus will be on the cards if taking The Cheltenham Gold Cup.
