We have a runner Newton Abbot tonight in the 6:35. Aldrin bids to follow up his win at Bangor-On-Dee.

Aldrin won nicely at Bangor but it wasn’t much of a race. The leaders went hard and the race possibly fell apart. Aldrin won impressively though and you can only beat what’s in front of you.

Tonight’s race will take a lot more winning. Berry De Carjac hacked up five days ago. The new ratings came out this morning, Berry De Carjac has gone up a stone so he’s 7lb well in tonight.

In On The Act was 123 rated over hurdles, he’s been chasing for the past 9 months and perhaps not enjoyed it. His hurdle rating has fallen to 110, In On The Act looks well handicapped.

It’s a trappy and warm 0-115 handicap, Newton Abbot will suit Aldrin so we’ll take our chance.
