We had a brilliant evening on Friday, two runners in decent races with good prize money on offer at two of the best racecourses in the country, York and the July course at Newmarket.

Cairn Gorm set the ball rolling and won very nicely at York, then just 20 minutes later, Squeezebox won at Newmarket. It was a super night and great for both sets of owners to have winners at such racecourses.

We go back to York today and have a runner in the Jump Jockeys Nunthorpe, Charlie Hammond rides Sampers Seven for us. The going won't be ideal and blinkers go on for the first time which should help.

If Sampers Seven can break well, something she's not done in her past few races, she'll give Charlie a fun ride and take him quicker than he's ever gone before.
