Toormore trained by Richard Hannon won the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood yesterday, making all under a good ride from James Doyle the pair were never headed and landed the valuable prize.

My fancy in the race Dutch Connection was 2^nd, outpaced at halfway before staying on strongly beaten ¾ of a length, another 100 yards the result might have been different. A return to a mile can see Dutch Connection get his head in front, the Breeders Cup Mile is a reported target.

Day of the handicaps at Goodwood today and I’m leaving it well alone, however over at Sandown this evening Decorated Knight “11-8” should go well. The horse is held in high regard by the yard and could have been let in lightly on handicap debut, Pyjama Party is the obvious danger.
