Howth runs today at Newcastle in the 1:53, a brilliant card of racing, AW Champions Day.
Just to have a runner at the meeting is very pleasing, whilst the prize money is outstanding.

£150,000 the race is worth, that's double than any of the Cheltenham handicaps races the other week.

Howth won nicely last time out and loved the step-up in trip to 1m6f. If he stays 2m on a stiff racecourse, we’ll find out. Either way, Howth has earned his place in this race and is in good form.

It will take a huge amount of winning, Group horses running and Listed types, we'll give it a good go and enjoy running in such a big race.
