It was a real shame to hear Son Du Berlais lost his life at the weekend, the horse was held in really high regard by Nicky Henderson and looked a very exciting prospect, sympathy to connections.
Kingsmere can go into the notebook and will be winning once stepped up in trip, the Henry Daly trained horse was always in top gear at the weekend but made good late headway in the final furlong. I had a feeling the trip would be on the sharp side but look forward to his entries in the coming weeks.
Rhythm Star could make her seasonal & hurdles debut on Friday at Uttoxter, it’s not set in stone yet but the entry has gone in. Our other mare Dino Mite is coming along nicely, she’s jumping poles now and doing everything right at home, trainer Jamie Snowden is very happy with her.
Nothing happening on the racing front so far this week, the Newmarket sales started yesterday and plenty of money was around, were interested in two lots today and will be bidding at Tatterstalls this afternoon.
