Much better racing today, that includes a cracking evening card at Sandown.
Before that a big run from Muntadab is expected in the 3:00 at Lingfield, the horse has apparently improved a lot over the winter and a decent effort is hoped for. In the same race Hit List has attracted support, trained by Andrew Balding it’s likely this one is better than it showed on debut but I’ll stick with Muntadab.
Over the jumps at Worcester, Deshan in the 3:40 makes his racecourse debut and has been going well at home I hear. This nicely bred type is related to plenty of winners and connections hope to making a winning debut.
The feature race at Sandown is the Brigadier Gerard Stakes "Group 3".
Tryster has been running fantastically well on the AW but has to prove he’s as good back on the turf. Eagle Top has not been seen for a while and might just need this whilst Western Hymn would prefer softer ground. Although not an original selection everything seems ideal for Arab Spring who should be able to cope with the drop back in trip.
