A rather mundane week so far, the racing hasn’t whetted the appetite whilst the weather is making life tough from a punting point of view.
Time has been spent finishing off the sales work for Doncaster next week, there’s a couple of interesting types worth a closer inspection and I’ll be at the sales both days.
Fool To Cry was a horse that was given good write up’s in some of the Roger Varian stable previews at the start of the season. The filly made a decent debut finishing 3rd at Leicester back in June whilst the form looks ok as the winner of the race has developed into a decent type.
Foot To Cry lines up this evening in the 8:15 at Wolverhampton, this looks a good opportunity to get her head in front but the price of 5-4 is far too short for me. I would also question why it’s taken so long for her to be out running again?
There’s plenty of money around for the Roger Varian trained filly though and this doesn’t look a great race, if she’s sound and improved just a bit from the Leicester effort, Fool To Cry should go close this evening.
