The flat is back this afternoon with The Lincoln kicking things off at Doncaster. This meeting seems to start very early in the year, little then happens on the level until the Guineas meeting in May.

Plenty of betting was done at Cheltenham and with Aintree on the horizon, it’s steady away.

Good Ball, 2:50 Newbury will enjoy the step-up in trip and should go well. Over at Doncaster in the 4:20, Dhushan has been showing up nicely on the gallops. It’s impossible to know however, how far forward each yard is at this early stage. It’s quite possible horses could be gallop short.

Both are priced at 15-8.
