Rhythm Star is fine this morning but a tired horse, she ran a flat race yesterday and we know that wasn’t her true running. Brendan Powell said she emptied very quickly and felt like a horse that was in bad need of a holiday, the petrol tank was very much on the empty side and she’s had enough for the season.

Rhythm Star is a very big mare and puts an awful lot into her races especially with her running style, she’s been in training since August 2014 and has earned a good break. Star has done us proud again this season, winning and placed on numerous occasions.

There will be no update tomorrow as we have the stable morning to watch Kenobe Star work on the Newmarket gallops, then it's off to the pub for a cooked breakfast.

For what it's worth i've heard Mange All who runs in the Lincoln has been going v well with Group class horses at home, his draw isn't great but a big effort is expected.
