With Cheltenham on the horizon, I’ll be mainly holding fire from a betting point of view until the Festival.

I have had one bet today though, a few pounds on GA Law in the 1:50 at Kempton. Just the four runners take their chance, the race looks between the top two in the betting, Ga Law and the odds-on favourite, Tamaroc Du Mathan.

Ga Law has to carry a 5lb penalty and gives the Paul Nicholls favourite 3lb which won’t be easy. However, Ga Law likes to make all and in his past races, Tamaroc Du Mathan has been held up.

I’m hoping Ga Law gets his own way in front and Gavin might just get an easy lead. The odds between the two look a bit big, 8-11 & 7-4. I’ve had a few pounds on Ga Law and hope it’s a winner of one of our syndicate trainers, Jamie Snowden.
