We’re off to Newbury this afternoon with Rhythm Star who lines up in the 5:20.
Despite running seven times so far today is Rhythm Star’s handicap debut. She’s not been able to defy a penalty in novice company “something that very few mare’s do” but her 2nd placed effort last time out looks ok as the winner Streets of Promise won again last week by 16 lengths hard held.
Today’s race is competitive, the majority of runners are in good form and not many can be ruled out. Rhythm Star will have to find some improvement but we hope the better ground and first time cheek pieces might just help her along.
Plenty of her owners are making the journey and were looking forward to a good day of racing.
