We have a runner at Kempton this evening in the 6:20, Settimo Milanese makes his seasonal debut after holidays.

The entire card at Kempton has cut up due to the ground, having a two-runner race isn’t ideal but it’s a starting point for the season ahead. Settimo Milanese will be going chasing shortly, today’s race is a blow the cobwebs away outing whilst the trip will be on the sharp side for our horse.

Black Kalanisi looks smart on what he’s shown so far, the trip will also suit him. How fit he is for this is the question? Our horse will certainly improve. If we can pinch the race great but this certainly hasn’t been a target.

We’re hoping Settimo Milanese will be a smart staying chaser, he’s got the size and jumps well.
