Poor racing today but the weekends action was excellent.

Trainer Colin Tizzard has done a tremendous job with Cue Card, the horse has bounced back to his brilliant best this season and was very impressive when winning the Betfair Chase on Saturday. The King George is next on the agenda and that race could be something special this season with the likes of Vautour & Don Cossack also taking their chance.

The Supreme Hurdle winner Douvan made his chase at Navan and was mightily impressive. Apart from a small mistake at the last, Douvan jumped like a stag and destroyed his rivals. The best price for him to win the Arkle is now 7-4. Douvan looks impossible to take on even at this early stage and will likely be shorter on the day.

Kenobe Star finished 3rd at Exeter, he jumped grand but got stuck down on the ground that was like running on superglue. Kenobe picked up more prize money though and will be seen at his best when handicapping.
