Racing from Cheltenham takes centre stage today, it’s a fair card but nothing special. A few of the races have small field sizes which is disappointing.

I’ve had a speculative few pounds EW on Chidswell in the 2:33 at Kelso.

This a decent staying race with the likes of Truckers Lodge, 2^nd in the Welsh National and winner of the Midlands version making the long journey. Paul Nicholls sending one all this way is likely a tip in itself, but the quicker ground could be negative.

Some Chaos has a fitness advantage whilst Rocky’s Treasure has been well supported but needs to prove his wellbeing.

Chidswell might be a sporting EW bet. He carries no weight, enjoys it around Kelso and fitness won’t be an issue. Brian Hughes in the saddle suggests he’s ready to go. 8-1 EW looks fair with everything in his favour.
