Slade Power completed a fantastic sprint treble for Edward Lynam when running out a nice winner of the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, it was a memorable Royal Ascot for the Irish trainer with Sole Power taking the King Stand & Anthem Alexander winning the Queen Mary, Mr Lynam certainly knows how to train sprinters.

It was a good Royal Ascot with some smart performances and thrilling finishers, the highlight has to be Kingman who looks top class and hugely exciting, same league as Frankel?

Our horse Duke Of Destiny ran a better race at Newmarket finishing 7th, Duke travelled strongly, last horse off the bridle but he could only stay on at the same pace in the last furlong after getting a little unbalanced on the undulations.

It was a great night on the July course with syndicate members, the drinks were flowing whilst the live music after racing was good fun.

The racing this week is low key until the weekend, nothing has taken the eye so far but the lovely warm weather is most welcome, nice to have every meeting ran on a decent surface for a change.
