The Lord Maid won nicely on her debut for us and her owners yesterday at Southwell. She's a nice mare who we like a lot, it's always a relief they show on the racecourse what you hope they will.

The Lord Maid will go on holiday now and come back in the winter.

Another runner today, this time at Uttoxeter. Let's Sail Away in the 4:30.

Let's Sail Away has been on the go for a long time, pushing ten months now. He's ready for a long holiday. LSA is a stunning big strong horse with all the best days ahead of him. He's very much a chaser in the making and catches the eye.

The ground is a big question mark today, it will be hard work for a big heavy horse like him, and he could easily get stuck in the mud. Whatever the result, he'll be 10lb better over a fence and going on holidays tomorrow.
