An excellent day of racing, quality horses running all over the country with some fantastic clashes. Starting at Haydock, the exciting, Lostintranslation takes on Bristol De Mai. Throw in Ballyoptic and Frodon, this perhaps is the race of the day.

I’m a big fan of Lostintranslation and think he's the real deal. It could be tough taking Bristol De Mai on his fav racecourse “4 from 4” but I wouldn’t put anybody off having a King George / Gold Cup EW double on him whatever the result today.

Over at Ascot, it’s Altior vs Cyrname. Over this trip, if Cyrname had already had a run I would fancy him, however his first-time out record is poor.

Back at Haydock, hopefully some of our trainers will come away with a win or two.

Thebannerkingrebel in the first for Jamie Snowden, he looks to have a great chance at odds of 7-4. David Pipe holds two chances with Umbrigado 2:25, priced at  13-2 and Know The Score 3:40. Both yards are banging in winners left right and centre and have many quality horses this season.
