Pisgah Pike won easily on Monday as we hoped he would. He's looking very progressive and deserves to take his chance in a big race.

We send Nikolayeva to Newcastle this afternoon, Eva runs in the 4:30 with Ben Curtis in the saddle.

This will likely be Nikolayeva's last run of the season, she's won three times and had a good time of things. This will also be the first time Nikolayeva has raced on a tapeta surface, not a clue if she'll handle it but touch wood it won't be a problem.

If the petrol tank is still full, Eva will run her normal game race.
