Pisgah Pike runs today at Worcester in the 3:00.

This is Pike's first run since landing the big hurdle race of the warmer months last time out. Pisgah Pike went up 4lbs for his win, this is fair and workable.

We hoped there might be a higher rated horse running but as things have worked out, Pike is top-rated. This results in Pike carrying 12 stone and top weight. A lot of lead will be in the saddle and giving over a stone to our main rivals won't be easy.

Pisgah Pike seems in good form but the Summer Hurdle was his big aim which came off. Touch wood the petrol tanks are still brimming.
