Now that were just over halfway through the year I thought I’ll do a review on how the season is going so for Value Racing Club. The below results have come from our 5 horses that have ran in 2015.

Total Prize Money £89,000

On just six occasions this year we’ve finished out of the first three, that’s quite an incredible record and means were running on a near 70% strike rate of getting in the winners enclosure.

The five races we’ve won have resulted in some fantastic days out for members and great achievements, Ebony Express winning the prestigious Imperial Cup in March whilst only last weekend Gran Maestro won the biggest hurdle race of the summer, The £35,000 Betred Hurdle.

Gran Maestro’s win was a long term plan that came off, winning these types of races with horses that we didn’t pay a huge amounts of money for shows what can be achieved if you’re with the right trainers and do bit of homework. Our other 3 wins have all come from our mare Dino Mite who now has outstanding broodmare potential.

With Ebony Express now in pre training for the jumps season and our latest recruit Sioux Chieftain coming in shortly plus the gorgeous mare Rhythm Star & Kenobe Star all running through the winter months, there looks to be plenty more exciting days out going forward.
