It was indeed foolish to oppose Paul Nicholls yesterday, I could have kicked myself. A further 3 winners on the day from just 4 runners. In the last 15 days, the champion trainer has now sent out 20 winners! Today Mr Nicholls has 6 runners, 4 at Cheltenham and 2 at Kelso.

There will be no blog updates until the backend of next week now, I’m at the Newmarket sales from Monday to Thursday in a bid to secure a new horse that will be trained by Dan Skelton. Hopefully the hundreds of study will pay off and we can purchase something well above average that’s on our shortlist.

Good racing today, I’ve stopped betting now on the flat as horses are coming to the end of a busy season and results can be somewhat strange. Really good racing at Cheltenham, I’ll be cheering on our syndicate trainer’s horses.
