We have two runners this afternoon, Black Anthem making his seasonal debut in the 3:40 at Warwick. Boundless Power is also making his seasonal debut and debut for us at the same time. He goes in the first race at Chelmsford.

Black Anthem is a real pro, enjoys his work and gives his all at home and on the racecourse. He’s off a career high rating today whilst up against race fit horses. Black Anthem is in good form, but it might come down to fitness and him maybe needing to drop a few pounds.

Boundless Power was going to run at Beverley, but the ground is very quick and with Boundless Power being a big horse, we switch to the AW. This results in Boundless Power giving weight away to the 3yo horses which isn't ideal.

A learning curve for us but he goes well at home. We’re not quite sure what trip he’ll be best at, five or six furlongs so we played it safe and start over six. A tricky draw in stall 8.
