Llyrical missed out on a place by a short head last night and finished 4^th, entering the final furlong he looked the winner but didn’t find a huge amount off the bridle. The horse will pick up a similar race in the coming months, a hold up ride could do the trick.

We’re off to Taunton today with Dino Mite who runs in the 5:45, Micheal Nolan rides once again and the partnership are going for their 3^rd win at the course.

Firstly congratulations to Micheal who rode out his claim Monday evening, it’s well deserved and I’m pleased our young mare has helped him along the way. Dino Mite carries a 7lb winner’s penalty for her previous win but still gets the mares & age allowance.

Dino Mite is fine and seems in good form, this will be another quick outing for her “13 days” but whilst she’s going so well it makes sense to have another go and this is the last fixture at Taunton until the winter.

On paper this is a matchup between Dino Mite & Andi’amu, but form can go out of the window in 3 runner races, however our horse & jockey know Taunton like the back of their hands & hoofs so touch wood they run another big race.
