Back from holiday and looking forward to the jumps season proper. Our Winter team of Sioux Chieftain, West Of The Edge, Audacious Plan, Trigger Nichol & Ilovemints are all in pre-training with their respective trainers.

Our first runners from the above will be around a month away so things will remain fairly quiet. However, we still have two Summer horses on the go and one of them runs today at Yarmouth in the 5:50, Mountain Rescue.

This will likely be Mountain Rescue last start before his holidays, after today he’ll have run 8 times this season. Just the five runners line up this afternoon but it’s still a very competitive race, any of the five could win.

Big Tour looks the one to beat, he won nicely last time out looked to have quite a bit in hand. Mountain Rescue must give weight away whilst the race could be quite tactical.

We’ve had another very good season with Mountain Rescue and he owes us nothing. If this isn’t one run too many, Mountain Rescue should run his normal sound race with James Doyle taking the ride.
