We’re off to Worcester this afternoon with Trafalgar Rock who runs in the 4:30. Sam Twiston Davies rides.

Nelson as we call him, came out of his race at Uttoxeter in good form. I’m no handicapper but would say Trafalgar Rock ran to a mark of approx 120 on hurdles debut. Today’s race is much harder, Kalondra holds an official rating of 125 and sets a good standard.

Kalondra is trained by Neil Mulholland and was an expensive buy at £65,000, he won well last time out and the form is decent.

Trafalgar Rock will have to find a fair amount to beat Kalondra, we carry 5lbs more this time around and in total need to run approx 10lbs better. We hope Trafalgar Rock will be a 125 rated horse in time, the question is, can he produce that type of performance on just his second start?

Trafalgar Rock shouldn’t be the favourite and I don't understand why the bookies have our horse as the jolly, the prices between us and Kalondra should be the other way round.

We have a fantastic turnout making the journey for a midweek fixture so touch wood Nelson runs a sound race.
