We start the week with a runner at Bangor-on-Dee, Henry Smith takes his chance in the 5:40. Henry Smith found the going too quick at Stratford last time out, any rain that falls would be in his favour.

This looks a trappy race with some unknown quantities. Promise Of Peace was smart on the flat in Germany, won on his final start and finished 5^th in the German Derby. Lester Kris was a decent flat horse with Richard Hannon, he’ll be ready to go on hurdles debut for the Skelton’s.

Throw in Thelunarschooner a mare in form and Staged Engagement, the race looks wide open. Henry Smith seems in decent nick so we'll see how we go.
