The French trained Ervedya got up in the last few strides and won the Group 1 Coronation stakes beating Found in a tight finish. I thought Found had the race won when hitting the front under Ryan Moore but Ervedya came with a late surge and turned the Longchamp 2014 form around.

It was great to watch Balios win the King Edward Stakes in smart style, I mentioned yesterday the horse had the best form in the race and was overpriced. Backed from 5-1 into 3-1 late in the day and under a very cool and confident ride by Jamie Spencer, Balios ate up the ground in the home straight and won in the style of a very smart colt.

Jockey Ryan Moore broke the post war record for the most amount of winners at the meeting when winning his 9th race of the week. Chances are he will be in double figures come end of play today, that record will take some beating.

A decent profit has been secured at Royal Ascot this week, I’m certainly not giving it all away on the last day as it’s not easy place to win at. A few bets with bookies money can finish the week off in a sporting way.

The 2:30 Chesham Stakes has a horse running called Ballydoyle, trained by Aiden O’Brien that name is a tip in it’s self for obvious reasons. There's no way connections would name the filly Ballydoyle if she wasn’t well above average, it's not a great price at 15-8 but has to be the selection.

The Wolferton Handicap 3:05 has another short priced favourite that we know all about, Mahsoob. This horse has been highlighted both times on the blog with reports from connections thinking he’s a Group type in the making.

This race is another step up but I can’t go against the John Gosden trained runner that’s done us two good turns so far. I’m a bit concerned he might find the track on the sharp side but if jockey Paul Hanagan can get him rolling a bit earlier hopefully Mahsoob can land the hat trick.

Sir Michael Stoute Royal Ascot has been a nightmare so far with horses running not sort of race and breaking down. For that reason although I do like Telescope he’s got to be taken on in the Hardwicke Stakes at 3:40

Postponed is the selection at 7-2, he’s unbeaten when racing beyond one mile two whilst I think Adam Kirby might just kick on early and make this a real test.

A solid 3rd at the Curragh last time out behind Al Kazeem when having to make his own running “didn’t suit” was a smart effort. The extra two furlongs will be right up his street and think he can go very close for trainer Luca Cumani.

No real interest in the big race race of the day the Diamond Jubilee, it’s a real pin stick job. If forced maybe a pound EW on Pearl Secret who looked an unlucky loser in the King Stand on Tuesday.

My final bet at Royal Ascot will be Watchable in the 5:00, EW at 12-1.

Watchable has Group form but this is a 0-110 handicap, Watchable found the drop to five furlongs at Newmarket on the sharp side so a return to six furlongs and now with fitness guaranteed should be ideal. The draw in stall 1 is a worry, could be the best or worst of the draw but nothing we can do about that.

If Jamie Spencer can find a clear path and were on the right side of the split group Watchable should give you a run for your money.
